MT365: Day 47 - The World Museum of Mining

Have you ever wondered where the World Museum of Mining was located? I mean, you knew there had to be one, right? Well there is. And it’s in Butte. Like I said, Butte is one of the most historical Western mining cities in American history. And when your dinner guests get sick of looking at all your pictures of mountains and bears, you’ll need some impressive “culture” talk to keep them entertained.

So. Take a visit to this historical and fascinating monument that pays homage to our early industrial roots and ingenuity. You can see all the equipment used in the forming of our great nation, as well as experience an actual underground mine, getting a feel for the kind of fortitude necessary to live the mining life.
