MT365: Day 3

Now that you’ve seen town and recharged the batteries, it’s probably time for something a little more active. Or a little more cultural. Something that goes well with chin-rubbing and deep thought. Most likely, you’ve seen the art galleries. Take it deeper. We say, plan your day around catching a show at the Big Fork Center for the Performing Arts, also known as the Big Fork Playhouse.

The 435 seat theater is located in the center of town, and is a beautiful compliment to the already wide variety of Big Fork’s artistic offerings. This September, the theater is playing “The Hits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.” From their website: “The 50’s, 60’s & 70’s were three decades of some of the finest Rock and Roll music! Enjoy an evening of staged hits from artists like Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Ritchie Valens, The Beach Boys, Elton John, Johnny Cash and more as the Bigfork Summer Playhouse brings you’re the Hits live onstage!”

Luckily, these decades of music are still pretty universal. While I doubt I’ll be going to a Justin Beiber n’ friends memorial play in thirty years time, I’d definitely be into a performance celebrating the music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Go, bring the kids, get some snacks, and enjoy some great entertainment in the historical Big Fork Playhouse.
