MT 365: Day 21 - Dirt Road Camping

Stay out of town. Don’t even think about heading for the internet. You’re on a roll. You probably had a better conversation than you’ve had in months, and you may have even remembered that your spouse’s eyes are really blue and beautiful.

Instead of distracting yourself with the nonsense of the digital world, drive down an empty dirt road and set up camp. And don’t panic, everything you need to bring can be kept in a cooler. Find a spot surrounded by a mix of towering pine trees and quaking aspens, and pitch your tent. Light a fire. Stop talking and stare up at the stars, and remember that we are on a giant garden spaceship flying through infinity.

You’re welcome.
