MT365: Day 17 - Swan Lake
Historically speaking, Wednesday is a day of passion and inspiration. So with that in mind, and if you’re in the area, we recommend that you head to Swan Lake, just South of Bigfork.
And no, it’s not just another lake. The coolest thing about the Northwest region of the state is that each of the many lakes that exist there are unique, and offer a different experience. At just ten miles long, Swan Lake is small in comparison to its’ neighbors. But perhaps that is the greatest feature.
With camping opportunities and any amenities you could want, Swan Lake is the perfect place to go to get away from the crowds that sometimes gather around Flathead and Whitefish. Bring a tent and a few days worth of supplies, and post up on the shores to watch the leaves change before your eyes.
