"Everybody in Montana knows that Great Falls is the place to go. The girls are cute and the beer is cold. All are welcome, young and old."  Vince Aiello

ABOUT

Drawing its name from the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the early 1800’s, Great Falls is a city steeped in history.  Originally five interlocking waterfalls, Lewis and Clark believed these “great falls” to be the Northwest Passage, the passage through the Rockies that would allow them to get to the Pacific Ocean.  Now, each of the falls is utilized by hydroelectic dams, earning the city the nickname “The Electric City.”

Great Falls is a true city of the West.  Perhaps the most famous Western painter of all time, Charlie M. Russell, was born and lived out his life there, painting scenes of the native Blackfeet tribes that he interacted with.  The cowboy traditions live on today, attracting ranchers, artists, and others interested in living the authentic Western lifestyle.  Also home to Malstrom Airforce Base, Great Falls is a diverse city with a varied economy and comfortable community involvement.
